History
Pulse Engineering Ltd. is located in Winnipeg, near the geographic center of Canada. It has 2 sister companies in Winnipeg that provide electrical apparatus sales and repair services. The group's total head count is 30 to 40 people.
Pulse Engineering Ltd. was started in 1975, to provide electronic and engineering services to businesses in Manitoba. In 1982, Pulse acquired the Manitoba calibration business from CAE Industries. Today, we have customers in Bermuda, Mexico, USA, and most of Canada. Our customers are in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transportation, environment, medical, government and many others.
Today, we provide timely and cost effective calibration and repair services for a wide range of test and measurement equipment. Our scope includes electrical, pressure, temperature, mechanical and more. To consistently achieve 5 day turnaround for calibration services, we have equipment, an environmentally controlled laboratory, extensive engineered documentation, and systems that are worth $1M+ at replacement.
Our Quality System is ISO 9001:2000 registered. We have been ISO since 1994 and our calibration process complies with ISO 17025 (a standard for testing and calibration). Our investment in computerized systems provides calibration due reminders and has led to several customers using their limited resources for the "right things" and having Pulse provide full asset management of their test and measurement equipment.
Our customers like us because we are continually re-inventing ourselves to provide more services that they need.
